Our unique curriculum merges three distinct martial arts systems into a single class experience. Every class includes elements from each system, and their sub-systems, to help students become well-rounded martial artists. At TWMA, we value martial arts traditions and show respect for our origins while teaching in ways that address modern self-defense and personal growth needs.
THE THREE PRIMARY SYSTEMS WE TEACH
|
BANDO is a very dynamic martial art system, renowned for its comprehensive approach to self-defense and personal development.
Includes strong martial arts techniques of striking, blocking, and maneuvering. Subsystems in grappling, kickboxing, and weapons training. Training in self-discipline, mental focus, and physical fitness. Our Bando curriculum designed to help you become not only an effective martial artist but also a stronger, healthier individual. |
|
KENPO is more than just self-defense; it’s about understanding the nature of an attack and mastering the skills to respond with speed, power, and precision.
Learn how to anticipate and defend against attacks. Develop the speed and power to make it work. Go beyond the basics—Kenpo teaches you what to do, how to do it, and when to apply your skills. Gain a deep knowledge of martial arts at their core, enhancing your confidence and abilities. |
|
KICKBOXING at TWMA is taught as a dynamic martial art and combat sport. Kickboxing is at the heart of the TWMA system. We teach both Joe Lewis Kickboxing and Burmese Lethwei.
Combines elements of punching and kicking, drawing techniques from both traditional eastern martial arts and western boxing. Promotes self-discipline, confidence, and stress relief. Teaches practical striking and defensive skills. Builds timing, accuracy, and stamina. |
